Welcome to Meulegoorn, luxury guest accommodation in an equestrian farm in south-west Drenthe, near the Drents-Friese Wold (Wold=Forest); one of the most beautiful regions in eastern Holland. At Meulegoorn, quality and personal attention to our guests are most important and our unique facilities are designed with that in mind. Opportunities

Meulegoorn is an ideal starting point for exploring three national parks. There are nearly unlimited opportunities for horse-trekking, horse-driving, cycling and hiking.

Our rooms

The 'achterhuis' was formerly a stable for cows. It has been converted into three spacious, centrally heated units. Each room has an ensuite and it's own theme. Besides we can also offer you a large holiday appartment, with two bathrooms and large kitchen.The appartment is suitable for two to four guests.

Prices

(excluding 1 euro tourist tax per guest per night)

• Bed and Breakfast in large guest unit € 80, per night for two guests. No charge for children upto 2 years, on condititon that bed, food et cetera is provided for. There is no discount for older childeren.
• Lodgings and breakfast in guest unit 'Buiten' for three guests:
  € 115, four guests: € 140,-.
• Use of a double guest unit by one guest: € 65,- per night.
• For a one night stay there is a surcharge of € 5,- per guest with a minimum of € 10.- per unit.

Holiday house

May - September and autumn school holidays: € 605,-  for one week from Friday or Monday;
€ 335,- for a long weekend from Friday to Monday (3 nights); € 360,- for a midweek, Monday to Friday (4 nights).

• October – April, except autumn school holidays: € 425,- for one week; € 295,- for a long weekend or a midweek

Horse lodgings

• In stable 3x3 meter, including horse silage or hay: € 17,50 per night, minimum 3 nights (surcharge for 1 or 2 nights)
• In meadow or paddock with silage or hay: € 8,- euro per night
• Concentrate: € 0,80 per liter, or bring your own

Riding and driving with our horses

• Private instruction: € 25,- for 40 minutes
• Driving with horse and carriage: € 80,- for 1 1/2 hours, max. 5 passengers or 2 hours with max 3 passengers
• Courses and workshops with horses, and courses bitless riding: please ask information by email or phone.
